Lucy & Yak are working every day to improve their social and environmental impact. They employ tailors in Northern Indian, ensuring that the staff are paid fairly and can live comfortably.
Lucy & Yak currently uses organic cotton that is dyed using low impact dyes, and are looking into developing fabrics made out of recycled plastic bottles.
For mail orders Lucy & Yak their products are sent out in beautiful material bags, that can re-used and all labels, thank you cards and return slips are made from 100% recycled card.
Another environmental positive switch Lucy & Yak have made is that they use 100% biodegradable mailing bags with the plan to completed eradicate plastic from use at any point in the production and distribution of Lucy & Yaks.
